CrossplayPlatforms: control which platforms can join
CrossplayPlatforms is the Palworld server setting that decides which platforms are allowed to connect. Most people never need to change it — but if you want a PC-only server, or to exclude a platform, this is the knob.
The default lets everyone in
By default the setting is:
CrossplayPlatforms=(Steam,Xbox,PS5,Mac)
It's a comma-separated list inside parentheses. All four platforms are allowed out of the box, so if you just want everyone to be able to play together, you don't need to touch it.
Restrict to specific platforms
Remove the platforms you want to exclude. For example, a PC-only (Steam) server:
CrossplayPlatforms=(Steam)
Steam + Xbox but no PlayStation: CrossplayPlatforms=(Steam,Xbox,Mac). Keep the parentheses and commas exactly as shown.
Note: the old setting is gone
If you find old guides mentioning AllowConnectPlatform, that setting is deprecated— the official docs say it's no longer used and to use CrossplayPlatforms instead.
